Anyone whose been to a Disney Park has a favorite Disney treat. This week we'll celebrate those iconic treats right from our very own homes!
To start, let talk about a few of our favorites that you can purchase at your local grocery store --no cooking required!
Mickey premium bars hit our freezer last summer. These are a smaller version of the chocolate covered vanilla ice cream treat you get in the parks. At first, these were rather elusive, but these days, I've spotted them at Kroger, Walmart, and Target. This summer they've brought Mickey ice cream sandwiches to stores too. Personally, I think they taste even better that the premium bars.
Churros have been a Disneyland staple since 1985. Today, they are available in several locations at Disney World as well. Though we admit they're not QUITE as tasty as at the parks, our family enjoys churros from Costco. Better yet, Costco churros are only $1 each (compared to $4.95 at the parks)!
For a healthier snack, Good Health makes Mickey Shaped Veggie Chips that are identical to Chip and Dale Snack Co. Veggie Chips.
If you're one who loves caramel popcorn from Epcot's German pavilion, you're in luck! I recently discovered Werther's sells a version of their famous caramel popcorn in stores and on Amazon.
Those who know me know the Dole Whip is my perfect Disney snack. I recently learned Menchie's sells Dole Whip Pineapple Sorbet. I'm a traditionalist when it come to Dole Whips, but for those who are a bit more adventurous, they also serve the Dole Whip Lemon Sorbet and Lime Sorbet.
Have you found a Disney snack available locally? What Disney snack would you like to see come to a store near you?
